First of Many.

And welcome!

This is the all-new blog for The Inn Theatre Company, based in Dartmouth.

Every year we present Dartmouth Shakespeare Week and this year we are performing 'Much Ado About Nothing' from 4th - 8th August.

It's in the open-air at Dartmouth Castle; if you've never seen one of our productions, you've missed a treat. It really is one of the most atmospheric locations imaginable!

This blog is a completely new venture for us and here you will be able to keep up with what's happening, not only with this years production but with everything else the Company is doing.

There will, I hope, be photographs from rehearsals and a diary of how the play is progressing, with the occasional comment (I hope!) from this year's Director, the inimitable Malcolm MacIntosh! And what a fine looking fella he is!

Being new to this blogging game, I hope that you will be able to leave comments and to add to the diary if you so wish...we shall see.

Things have started in earnest now, with the first full rehearsal taking place last night. Even at such an early stage in the proceedings, things felt really good, and as is usually the case with one of our productions, there was a great deal of laughter. We always seem to manage to have a good time, regardless!

We get together for the rehearsals every Tuesday and Friday evening at the Guildhall in Dartmouth (that's for cast members who might have forgotten!) at seven ( 7 ) o'clock...Gil!!

We'll keep you updated as regularly as possible, but you can also visit our website if you would like even more information about us and what we do:

Keep calling back.
